BACKGROUND OF CRY OF RAMAH

Cry of Ramah is a Ghanaian based non-governmental and non-profit making organization with the principal goal of persuing project programmes in initiatives aim at eradicating poverty, sickness, diseases, depression and unerbility from very deprived areas in the Kpone-Seduadi old and new Sasabe catchmal- area in Ghana.

The foundation also seeks to promote peace by making a major contribution to humanity by counseling the divorced, widowed, single parents and vulnerables both children and adults in these areas. It is also involved in organizing AIDS education to the hurt and suffering on a local basis.

Most people are hurt and therefore are depressed and these sometimes lead to so many situations and challenges in the nation which many a time cause neusance to society. The foundation is to help prevent such horrible attitudes,like parents who cannot send their children to school or even feed them twice a day but leave them to become prey to society. They are sometimes raped, maltreated and some are slaved. If the stress is too much they turn to drugs, prostitution, armed robbers, and even mentally hadicapped. People most times end up in Psychiatry hospitals, traditional healers and some in prayer camps.

This piece of material contains all that this foundation stands for, everything it is fighting to achieve and why it needs the support of donors. It contains information on project programmes and initiatives that the foundation is planning to persue to educate donors, organizations, assemblies and individuals who are ready to contribute to its goal and objectives. It is therefore designed to communicate our vision, mission, aims, objectives, strategic project programme and to appeal to all prospective donors and individuals who share our vision how to become part of our foundation, so as to render any contributions within their capacities, for the accoplishment of our vision.
